About Me

A Philadelphia native, living in Denver CO. for over 20 years now, I lead an incredibly full life as a mother, fine artist, educator, and small business owner.

With a degree in Art Education, from Temple University, I taught middle school art for over five years and am now in my first year as an elementary school art teacher. I continue to follow my passion for teaching and curriculum design, by spending time with the students and staff at VSA Colorado/Access Gallery; developing curriculum, teaching, and mentoring. Having been a hairstylist for over 20 years and an artist forever, my desire to not only create art (in all media) but also share my knowledge about the creative process, has never been stronger.

Please feel free to scroll through the pages to view samples of my work, as well as the work of my middle school students; inquire about Studio Classes; and or consider commissioning a drawing or painting to give as a gift to a friend or loved one. Although most sample works are Pet Portraits, this is simply due to the fact that this subject matter is in high demand at the moment.

If you can think it, I can either teach you to draw it or draw it for you.

Thank you for visiting!

Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
